We are excited to invite you to join a multi-disciplinary dialogue on gender and sexuality.  Although formal research projects and papers are welcome, the symposium is designed to encourage meaningful dialogue amongst the community; thus, we encourage you to submit semester projects and papers that will add to the conversation.

Various critical approaches – scientific, mathematic, literary, historical, political, rhetorical, ethical, philosophical, artistic, etc – can be utilized to examine gender and sexuality.  By creating an environment where professionals and students from the various disciplines can dialogue, we learn from each other and increasing our knowledge and competencies. Then the Symposium on Gender and Sexuality is a great place to start, where students, staff and faculty are coming together to present their research and experience on the intersections of these topics.

We are really excited about this opportunity to learn from the members of our community through the variety of activities taking place. Feel free to stop in at any time throughout the day. We look forward to seeing you on April 13th!
